GEDC Airbus Diversity Award 2014

Airbus and the GEDC (Global Engineering Deans Council) are delighted to announce the launch of the second Diversity Award.

This unique award recognises individuals who proactively promote diversity in their engineering schools and programmes, and who encourage students from all backgrounds to join the world of engineering. The initiative aims to publicly recognise and reward efforts to increase diversity in the engineering community.

Three finalists will be invited to the World Engineering Forum in Dubai, December 2014, where the Diversity Award recipient will be announced. The winner will receive a prize of USD 10,000 to support their activities, and the other two finalists will be awarded USD 1,500.

Interested candidates have until July 31 to send in their submission, and each nomination should be supported by a Dean of Engineering.
