General Information
2007 Engineering Research Council Summit, Workshop & Forum (ERC)
Arlington, VA
March 11-13, 2007
Mark your calendars and reserve time now for the 2007 ASEE ERC Summit,
Workshop, and Forum, scheduled to begin on Sunday morning, March 11 and
end at noon on Tuesday, March 13.
The Engineering Research Council of the ASEE exists to support and enhance
research in engineering, technology, computing and applied science in
educational organizations. More information about the ERC may be found
at its home
page.
The annual ERC Summit, Workshop and Forum provide participants with an
excellent opportunity to set the agenda for university research and to
learn about current research trends, issues, funding opportunities and
best practices through presentations by guest speakers, panel presentations
and group discussions. The Annual Business Meeting of the ERC is also
held in conjunction with the luncheon during the Forum.
Engineering research leaders including provosts, deans, directors of
research centers, department chairs, and research-active faculty members
can benefit from these events and are welcome to attend. Participating
will provide an opportunity to get the most up-to-date information on
federal funding priorities and an opportunity to participate in the establishment
of priorities for engineering and technology research.
