ASEE is a participating body of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, a member society of the American Association of Engineering Societies and a constituent organization member of the American Council on Education. As such, it has representatives on the governing bodies and committees and contributes financial support. The Society also has representatives to other organizations as mutual advantage makes such representation desirable.
