Suzanna Long is Assistant Professor of engineering management and systems engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in engineering management, from the University of Missouri, Rolla (UMR). Her research interests include strategic partnering in global supply chain networks, supply chain curriculum development, virtual teaming in a global marketplace, and sustainable energy management systems.
Abhijit Gosavi obtained a Ph.D. in industrial engineering from the University of South Florida in 1999. He has an MTech and BE, both in Mechanical Engineering, from IIT Chennai and Jadavpur University, respectively. He is an assistant professor of engineering management and systems engineering in Missouri S & T. His research interests are in simulation-based optimization, production management, and industrial engineering education.
Dr. Leonardo Bedoya-Valencia is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Engineering at Colorado State University - Pueblo. He received his M.Sc. in System Engineering and his Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the National University of Colombia and Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, respectively. His research interest includes Scheduling, Operations Research and Modeling and Simulation in health care and energy planning. He has participated in several funded projects through various sources such as NASA, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Colombian Research Institute. He also have several years of experience working as a consultant for Pharmaceutical and energy companies in the U.S. and Latin America.
Dr. Collins has extensive experience in program evaluation and research, as well expertise in education. Throughout her tenure at the University of Washington and as an independent consultant, she has worked diligently to connect program evaluation with improved practice.
