Dr. Saha is currently serving the University of Oklahoma as an Assistant Professor in the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. His research interests are in the areas of processing, characterization, and modeling of advanced composites, sandwich structures, thin films, advanced cellular materials, synthesis and applications of nanomaterials for hybrid multifunctional materials and structures. He has published over 25 peer-reviewed journals and over 60 conference papers. Dr. Saha has organized several technical sessions in the area of nanocomposites in various national and international conferences. He served as a vice chair of the ASME IMECE technical committee on Composites and Heterogeneous Materials and currently serving as a Chair. He is the faculty advisor of the Sooner Powered Vehicle (SPV) Challenge team at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Saha has won numerous awards including Best Paper Award, Junior Faculty Research award, Faculty Performance Award for Research, Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award, and Special Doctoral Research Assistantship Award.
Dr. Zahed Siddique is currently working as an Associate Professor at the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering of University of Oklahoma. His research interest in Engineering Education are in Experiential Learning, Games for Engineering Education, and Peer-to-Peer Learning.
Christof received his equivalent of a Masters Degree in Foundry Technology at the Technical University of Clausthal in Clausthal/Germany. After his first employment as Leader of Research & Development at Thyssen Feinguss, an Aluminum Investment Casting Foundry in Soest/Germany, he joined MAGMA GmbH in Aachen/Germany in a Marketing & Support position. Christof moved to MAGMA Foundry Technologies, Inc.’s Chicago office in 1995 as Foundry Application Engineer. He now is the President of MAGMA Foundry Technologies, Inc. Christof is a member of AFS, where he participates in several AFS committees. He also is a member of DIS and SAE and is known as the author of several technical papers.
