This ticketed event is $50 advance registration and $60 on-site registration. This workshop is designed for engineering educators who wish to conduct quantitative educational research studies. The basic principles of quantitative design will be explored and guidelines will be provided for choosing an appropriate design that aligns with the research question. This interactive session will allow participants to explore how to pick a design that matches their research objective and is feasible at their institution. A 47-page guidebook entitled “Planning, Implementing, and Reporting Quantitative Research in 
Education: A User's Guide” will be distributed to participants.
