In this session, participants will be exposed to a variety of items related to pre-college recruitment and retention. This session will cover topics ranging from summer transition or bridge programs for incoming freshmen STEM majors to the results of a pilot program aimed at preparing students for algebra. Topics will also include the results of near-peer mentoring with middle school students, the assessment results of pre-college summer recruitment, and the team experiences of a summer outreach program.
