The Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University (Morgantown, W.Va.) seeks applications and nominations for multiple endowed chair positions. These positions will collaborate with established groups of faculty to build interdisciplinary research collaborations between the different departments within the Statler College, with other colleges, and/or the Health Sciences Center, as well as participate in the development and delivery of innovative educational curricula. The successful candidates must hold an earned doctorate in engineering or a very closely related field; must have demonstrated the professional and personal skills necessary to build and lead interdisciplinary research; and must be able to develop industrial collaborations that can lead to the establishment of research consortia and/or centers.
