The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University (OSU) seeks nominations and applications for the position of Head of the Division of Engineering Technology (DET). The successful candidate will need to be qualified to hold the title of Professor of Engineering Technology. Candidates are sought who have an earned doctorate and national reputation in engineering technology, or a closely related field; a distinguished record of scholarship, teaching, and leadership in an appropriate area of engineering technology; an interest in advancing educational programs with a balance between undergraduate and graduate levels; a record of leadership in professional societies and interaction with industry. Demonstrate the vision and desire to develop interdisciplinary programs and ability to develop a vision for a graduate program and enhance graduate student recruitment. Candidates should demonstrate strong administrative and financial management abilities; academic leadership; communications and relationship-building skills with students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Oklahoma State University is located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, an exciting community in north central Oklahoma, approximately 60 miles from larger cities of Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The division has 22 tenure-track faculty members and 3 non-tenure track faculty. The Division of Engineering Technology offers four B. S. degree programs and one M. S. program. The bachelor of science degrees include Construction Management Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology. The master of science program is in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology. The programs in the Division of Engineering Technology are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc. (ABET).
