Western Washington University-Two Tenure - Track Positions

Western Washington University is currently recruiting for two tenure-track faculty positions—one each in manufacturing and electrical engineering. Areas of specialization for the MFGE position are in robotics, manufacturing automation, and manufacturing systems integration. Area of specialization for the EE position are in power electronics, smart grid, renewable energy systems, power systems, and cyber-physical systems with power applications. We are looking for energetic individuals who will help us develop industry-ready graduates through a combination of creative problem-solving, analytical skills development, and experiential learning. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of the development of these programs and to help build and strengthen connections to other areas such as WWU’s Advanced Materials Science and Engineering Center (AMSEC) and Institute for Energy Studies.
