The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, a recognized leader in undergraduate engineering education, invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning Fall 2018. We are looking for applicants with a strong commitment to undergraduate engineering education including laboratory instruction and life-long personal professional development. Candidates with a specialization in computer engineering, particularly with expertise in the area of machine learning, who can broaden and enhance the educational experience of our students and department are especially encouraged to apply. Although we anticipate hiring at the assistant professor level, exceptional applicants in any area and at all levels will be considered. A doctorate or near completion in electrical or computer engineering or closely related discipline is required and industrial experience is a plus. Essential job responsibilities include teaching and advising students, continued professional development, and service to the department, institute and professional community.
