Elon University seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in engineering at the assistant professor level beginning in mid-August 2018. The preferred areas of specialization are biomedical engineering, computer engineering, or robotics. Both an undergraduate engineering degree and a PhD in engineering or engineering science are required. Potential for excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level is essential as is integrating undergraduate students into a research agenda, advising and mentoring students, and contributing to the growth of the engineering program. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to Elon’s interdisciplinary Core Curriculum program and appropriate interdisciplinary programs and minors.
