The Department of Applied Engineering and Technology (AE&T) at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Network Security & Electronics (NET). The successful candidate will teach undergraduate/graduate courses in computer networking, security and electronics systems. Teaching responsibilities will be in the area of computer and network security:
• System administration
• Local Area Networks (LANs)
• Wide Area Networks (WANs)
• Wireless
• Virtualization
• Client-server technologies
• Network security management
• Cloud services
• Computer hardware and software
• Related computer electronics systems
Other duties include academic advising, scheduled office hours, computer/network lab management, committee assignments, student recruitment, course and program development, assessments related to accreditation, appropriate service and scholarly activities, and articulation with educational institutions, business and industry.
