The University Writing Program at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, seeks a specialist in teaching STEM writing or social sciences writing to join the program at the rank of Assistant Professor (non-tenure accruing). The successful candidate will contribute an active research agenda to complement the work of our diverse faculty and play a central role in developing course offerings that expand the program’s reach.

We seek a person who can contribute to our First Year Writing (academic writing) division by regularly teaching the required first-year introduction to academic writing and research course (UW 1020), & collaborate with our Writing in the Disciplines and Writing Center divisions. We are particularly interested in better serving students in engineering, health services, sciences, and social sciences.
