Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology’s Mechanical Engineering Department, a recognized leader in undergraduate engineering education, invites applications for multiple tenure-track positions to begin fall 2018 or later. • A professional development statement that explains what you would like to do to continue your intellectual growth
• A cover letter that summarizes key ideas in your statements and also highlights your particular strengths, experiences, or perspectives that might help us broaden and enhance our students’ experiences
• A curriculum vitae
We welcome applicants at any rank and from all areas of expertise, although we are particularly interested in hiring at least one additional faculty member with a background in thermal-fluids. Candidates with industrial experience are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants must have a B.S. degree and a doctorate in mechanical engineering or a closely related field; applicants whose doctorates are nearly complete will also be considered. Essential job functions include: classroom teaching and laboratory instruction; student advising; curriculum development and improvement; professional development; and service and committee work.
