The Fred DeMatteis School of Engineering and Applied Science is pleased to invite applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in mechanical engineering in the Department of Engineering at Hofstra University. The start date for this position is September 1, 2026.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
• Successful candidates should demonstrate a commitment to building a diverse and inclusive community
• Expertise in thermal sciences, energy engineering, and/or similar fields preferred
