There have been extensive conversations about restructuring and rethinking STEM education. The papers within this session presents some of the Liberal Education/Engineering and Society Division’s contributions to this conversation including a focus on the Arts as a mean of enhancing student engagement with STEM disciplines; educational outreach through online learning environments built around historical material on engineering and technology; and direct conversations about the basic structure of STEM education itself.
