Come join fellow engineering educators who are passionate about community engagement in a planning workshop to develop a sustainable way to have service activities at each annual ASEE conference. Participants will spend the morning brainstorming and developing guidelines for the inclusion of service at ASEE each year, including possible national partners, objectives for service engagements, and administrative controls to help facilitate such a project. Then spend the afternoon engaging in a local service project connected with students from Seattle University. While working side-by-side with your fellow workshop participants, share and discuss about your own service experiences in and out of the classroom. We hope that you can join and lay the foundation for a new opportunity for service at ASEE that will carry for years to come.
