Engineering Globalization Workshop
The workshop is May 17-18th at the Westin Arlington hotel, a short distance from the National Science Foundation in Arlington, Virginia. A number of leading industry, academic, and government experts will speak about: industry and management trends; engineering R&D globalization; engineering education globalization; globalization of the engineering profession; cross border management of teams; export control; and, global supply chains. ASEE Past-President Renata Engel is a featured speaker.

Students at the University of Minnesota are doing a project on the research habits and preferences of engineers and designers in industrial settings. Please consider taking their survey, which will ask questions about your experience using various information gathering methods for specific applications. The goal of this research is to better understand the resources engineers and designers use to learn about new materials and design/manufacturing techniques.
