The Director of Marketing and Communications is Cornell Engineering’s executive marketing and communications officer. As a strategic partner in all functional areas and reporting to the Dean and the VP for University Relations, the Director is responsible for planning, developing, directing, and implementing the internal and external messaging and communications strategies to advance its mission. Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor’s in Communications and have and 7-10 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, public relations, media relations or journalism, and demonstrated experience as a communications leader serving multiple stakeholders, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
· A Master’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, media relations or journalism or related fields
