The American Society for Engineering Education annually recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of engineering and engineering technology educators through the ASEE awards program. By their commitment to their profession, desire to further the Society's mission, and participation in civic and community affairs, ASEE award winners exemplify the best in engineering and engineering technology education.
ASEE is now accepting nominations for awards to be presented at the 2012 ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition in San Antonio, Texas, June 10-13, 2012. Nominations are being accepted in electronic format.

ASEE is pleased to announce the ASEE Lifetime Achievement Award in Engineering Education - established and endowed by ASEE Life Members and like-minded, Not-Yet-Life Member Fellows. Nominations are now open for this award.
The Apprentice Educator Grant, sponsored by the ASEE Women in Engineering Division, has been renamed the Mara H. Wasburn Apprentice Educator Grant. The award has been renamed in honor of Mara H. Wasburn, who previously served as Chair of the ASEE Women in Engineering Division. Prior to her passing in March 2011, Wasburn was a Professor in the Department of Organizational Leadership in Purdue's School of Technology. She previously served as Director of Development for Purdue University's School of Nursing and was the first Director of Purdue's Women's Resource Office.
The ASEE Graduate Studies Division has established the Keating Award for Innovation and Leadership in Lifelong Learning in Graduate Engineering Education. This award is established in memory of Donald A. Keating, who, during his association with the ASEE Graduate Studies Division, epitomized the best in innovative graduate engineering education and scholarship. The award recognizes an extraordinary level of support for professional graduate education.
Nominations for awards that will be presented in 2012 will be open from November 2011 through January 15, 2012.

The 2011 ASEE awardees and Fellow Member honorees were recognized at the annual Awards Banquet held at the 2011 ASEE Annual Conference and Exposition in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 26 - 29, 2011.
Award winners chosen from amongst their respective geographic sections and professional divisions of ASEE were also honored at traditional gatherings held during the ASEE Annual Conference or at their annual section and division meetings.
