Assistant Teaching Professor of Engineering

Penn State Brandywine invites applications for a faculty position, Assistant Teaching Professor of Engineering, multi-year appointment (2 years with option for renewal) to begin August 2018, or as negotiated.

Teach four courses (12 credits) a semester in a broad range of introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in the areas of engineering design, solid modeling using Solidworks, mechanics, materials and manufacturing, and computational modeling. Knolwedge of FEA and CAM preferred.

Ph.D. in Engineering or Masters in Engineering with PE required. Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is desired. Interest in active and collaborative learning, the instructional use of technology, and hybrid and online teaching is an advantage. Prior college-level and online teaching experience preferred. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important.
