Hesston College-Faculty Position
Hesston College seeks a full-time Mechatronics Engineering Professor to teach courses in mechatronics, including Fundamentals of Mechatronics, Mechatronics System Design, Mobile Robotics, Senior Capstone and other engineering courses on an ongoing basis. Other responsibilities include contributing to the Hesston College Robotics club and helping set up a fully equipped mechatronics laboratory.
Candidates should have a master’s degree or higher in mechatronics engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline (Ph.D. preferred). Additional desired qualifications include teaching experience, hands on robotics experience and a commitment to student-centered instruction. Online and hybrid courses may be part of a faculty member's teaching obligations, including the development of new courses that meet the Hesston College standard of excellence in teaching and the teaching of already-existing online courses.
