The newly formed Engineering program at Marymount University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in January 2023. Successful candidates will have demonstrated teaching experience in mechanical engineering and research interests conducive to involving undergraduate students. Experience in robotics/mechatronics and/or machine-learning/AI and interest in developing a graduate program (PhD, MS, MEng) are desirable. Applicants should have a PhD in mechanical engineering or a related field or assurance they will complete the degree by January 2023. Applications should include a cover letter, CV, evidence of excellence in teaching and research, a statement on diversity, a research plan that involves undergraduate students, and at least three letters of recommendation.
