Penn State York invites applications for faculty position, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering Technology, Tenure-track; 36 weeks, starting August 2023 or earlier, as negotiated

Teach undergraduate courses that support ABET-accredited programs in electrical engineering technology and in electro-mechanical engineering technology. The successful applicant is expected to participate in course, curriculum, and program development; advise students; provide career guidance; participate in campus, University, and community service activities; and engage in activities to stay current in one’s discipline. Develop and research enterprise and publish in scholarly journals. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary environment is important.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants will hold Ph.D. with 3-4 years of experience in industry. The candidate should be capable of teaching a second-year electrical engineering course that requires solving second-order electronic circuits using differential equations. The successful candidate will teach lower/upper-division courses in their specialty that support the EET and EMET majors and/or fulfill the University’s General Education requirements.
