The Engineering Education Transformations Institute (EETI) in the College of Engineering at University of Georgia invites applications for two open-rank, 9-month, tenure-track faculty positions to start August 1, 2024.
We are seeking innovative scholars in engineering education who will help expand EETI and contribute to our mission of creating community and capacity around engineering education scholarship and practice at UGA and beyond.
The successful candidates will become core faculty members within EETI, holding the title of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor of Engineering Education. In addition, they will be an active member of one of the four Schools in the College of Engineering: the School of Chemical, Materials, and Biomedical Engineering; School of Electrical and Computer Engineering; School of Environmental, Civil, Agricultural, and Mechanical Engineering; and School of Computing. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in one of the four Schools as well as graduate courses in the Engineering Education and Transformative Practice program housed in EETI.
The UGA College of Engineering currently enrolls over 2,700 engineering majors and has over 95 full-time engineering faculty across 15 degrees and 3 Schools.
All candidates must have a Ph.D. in engineering education, STEM education, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
Candidates must also have a documented research background appropriate for the appointment rank.

To be eligible for tenure upon appointment, candidates must be appointed as an associate or full professor, have been tenured at a prior institution, and bring a demonstrable national reputation to the institution. Candidates must be approved for tenure upon appointment before hire.
