ASEE President's Award

The ASEE President's Award recognizes those organizations that make the best use of print, broadcast, or electronic media to (a) encourage K-12 students to enter engineering schools and pursue engineering careers and/or (b) influence public opinion and create recognition of the critical role that engineering plays in today's technology driven society. The award is funded by the ASEE Engineering Deans Council and consists of a suitably inscribed plaque that is presented during the ASEE Annual Conference & Exposition.

One award will be given annually to the organization (public or private) judged to have made the best use during the preceding year of print, broadcast or electronic media to a. encourage K-12 students to enter engineering schools and to pursue an engineering career; or b. influence public opinion and to create recognition of the critical role that engineering plays in today's technology driven society. Originality will be a key factor in the selection of the winning entry.

Nominations are automatically transferred over for the next award cycle. If not selected, nominations can be re-submitted after one award cycle.
