The Oregon State University College of Engineering invites visionary, student-centered leaders to apply for the role of Associate Dean for Student Affairs (ADSA). The position offers an opportunity to help shape the student educational experience at one of the largest engineering colleges in the nation. The ADSA will lead strategic initiatives that elevate student success, foster inclusive excellence, and integrate cutting-edge technologies—particularly artificial intelligence—into every facet of the student experience. From enhancing academic advising and experiential learning to championing co-curricular innovation, the ADSA will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every student thrives in and beyond the classroom.

As a key member of the College’s leadership team, the ADSA will oversee a $6M+ organization and guide a team of more than 50 professionals dedicated to student support and development. The role includes leadership in curriculum reform, accreditation, academic integrity, and the expansion of high-impact learning opportunities such as internships, undergraduate research, and global engagement. With the College’s AI initiative—supported by NVIDIA—already underway, the ADSA will help embed AI fluency across programs, ensuring graduates can lead in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. The role is a 12-month, 0.9 FTE (negotiable) administrative appointment. Position closes: 8/21/25.
