Engage with the engineering education community through ASEE’s Annual Conference Sunday Workshops. The deadline to submit applications is November 22, 2025, @ 23:59 ET. Workshop applications will be evaluated by the ASEE Professional Interest Council Chairs. Application status will be communicated directly to the workshop organizer by the end of December.
Workshop Application Terms & Conditions
- Proposals may be sponsored by an ASEE division (“Division Workshops”) or outside of the ASEE division structure (“Sponsored Workshops”). Division Workshop applications are strongly encouraged.
- Division Workshops: Applications must be submitted by the sponsoring division’s program chair.
- Sponsored Workshops: May be submitted by the workshop organizers.

- Both types of workshops require a non-refundable $150 application fee, which can be paid directly to ASEE or through Division BASS funds.
- Workshops are scheduled from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the Charlotte Convention Center. Dates and times are not flexible.
- Applications are reviewed by the PIC Chairs; organizers will be notified of acceptance or rejection after the PIC Chair meeting.
- Workshops must be subsidized through ticket revenue, sponsorship, or other means, identified during the application process.
- All workshops will be ticketed. If sponsored or subsidized, assign a $0 ticket value. Ticket pricing must be included with the application.
- Complete information for all speakers must be included in the application.
If Your Workshop is Accepted
- Organizers will receive session access and a notification.
- Contact conferences@asee.org for help accessing your session.
- All organizers must be registered for the Annual Conference to conduct their workshop onsite.
- Details on special setup, food/beverages, or additional AV will be sent after acceptance.
- Default setup: Theater style (rows of chairs no tables). Rounds may be requested. Other setups incur a $500 fee.
- Food/beverage is not provided, but is available at additional cost.
- Internet for attendees is available for an additional fee. Presenter-only internet can be achieved via the organizers cell phone hotspot.
- Each room includes: LCD projector, screen, AV table, podium, and mic. Additional AV must be requested by June 1, 2026 and may incur fees.
- Additional fees for AV, setup, internet, food/beverages must be paid by June 6, 2026.
- Presenters must provide their own computers.
- Presenters are responsible for handouts; ASEE does not produce or distribute them.

Deadlines
- Cancel without penalty due to lack of attendance by Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
- After Thursday, May 21, 2026, the workshop is confirmed, and any revenue shortfall is the organizer’s responsibility.
- No changes or additional requests accepted after May 20, 2026.
