Outstanding Standing Service Award

This award is meant to recognize a member of the Midwest Section for outstanding service to engineering and/or technology education as well as for involvement in ASEE and ASEE Midwest Section activities.

The Award: An honorarium of up to $1000 and certificate of recognition to an individual whose contributions to engineering and/or technology education primarily through teaching support and/or non-classroom, student-related activities deserves recognition.

Past Award Winners

Must be a member of the Midwest Section.

Any member of the section may nominate candidates for this award by preparing a nomination package that includes a nomination letter, a nomination rationale statement, a vitae and evidence of service accomplishments. Supporting letters from colleagues are recommended but are not required. The announcement of the Service Award annual competition is mailed to the Deans and Campus Representatives by the Section Awards Committee Chair during April or May each year. The original of the nomination package is to be sent to the Section Awards Committee Chair. The nomination deadline is set each year by the Section Awards Committee Chair. This award is sponsored by the Deans of the Midwest Section.
